Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about testing, documentation, ordering, storage, and Research Use Only.
01
Quality & Testing
What documentation will be published for a released lot?
Purity Forge plans to publish the original laboratory report for each released lot before that lot is offered for sale. The public record will identify the issuing laboratory and show only the analyses actually performed and reported.
Will every released lot be tested?
Purity Forge’s planned release standard is to submit a sample from each lot intended for release to an analytical laboratory and publish the corresponding report before release.
What is the difference between purity and identity testing?
Purity and identity answer different questions. Purity is a result reported for the analyzed sample under the method stated by the laboratory. Identity testing is used to assess whether the material matches its reported identity. The methods performed and results reported for a released lot will appear in its corresponding laboratory report.
02
Certificates of Analysis
How do I read a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
First match the compound, lot identifier, and labeled quantity on the vial to the report. Then review the laboratory, report identifier and date, methods performed, and every result actually reported. Each result applies to the submitted sample under the method stated by the laboratory.
Where will I find the report for my lot?
Released-lot reports will be searchable in the public COA Library. Match the LOT printed on the vial to the corresponding report before relying on the documentation.
When will lot documentation be available?
Documentation for a released lot will be published before that lot is made available for sale. The current COA Library contains clearly labeled interface previews while prelaunch testing and documentation are finalized.
What is printed on the vial label?
Released labels will identify the compound, labeled quantity, Research Use Only status, and lot identifier. That identifier will connect released inventory to its corresponding report in the COA Library.
03
Research Use & Compliance
Are your products Research Use Only (RUO)?
Yes. All products are labeled strictly for laboratory Research Use Only and are not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, clinical, human, or veterinary use. The site does not provide human- or veterinary-use guidance.
What will be required to order?
Sales will be limited to verified laboratories, institutions, incorporated businesses, and documented research organizations purchasing exclusively for legitimate laboratory research through an authorized representative age 21 or older. General consumer purchasing and resale are not permitted. First orders require manual approval and organization and contact verification. Orders indicating human, veterinary, self-use, therapeutic, diagnostic, cosmetic, performance, household, resale, or unlawful intent will be declined.
What does Research Use Only restrict?
Research Use Only means the material is supplied strictly for laboratory research and is not intended for diagnostic, therapeutic, clinical, human, or veterinary use. The site does not provide effect, dosing, administration, or other human- or veterinary-use guidance. See our Research Use Only page for more detail.
04
Storage & Handling
What is the shelf life, and how should I store them?
Storage and shelf-life requirements are product- and lot-specific. For a released lot, follow the handling information published with its record. A prelaunch listing is not a substitute for that record.
How will materials be packaged for transit?
Released materials will be packed for the carrier service shown before payment. Any lot-specific handling information will be published with the released-lot record. No cold-chain service is provided unless that record expressly requires it and checkout offers it.
05
Ordering & Support
How do I match my vial to its documentation?
Match the lot identifier printed on the vial to the corresponding released-lot record in the COA Library. This confirms the documentation association; it does not independently authenticate the physical vial.
Do you accept returns?
Ordering is not currently available. When ordering opens, an order may be cancelled until fulfillment begins. After shipment, research materials are final sale and are not returnable or exchangeable for change of mind because their chain of custody cannot be restored. Verified wrong, damaged, or materially nonconforming shipments remain eligible for an appropriate replacement or refund, and applicable legal rights are preserved. Report damaged or wrong items within 7 calendar days of delivery, a carrier-marked-delivered but missing parcel within 3 calendar days, or non-delivery within 7 calendar days after the latest carrier estimate. Contact support@purityforgelabs.com with the order number, a concise description, and applicable packaging and label photos; retain all packaging. Do not send anything back without an RMA and the routing supplied by support. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days after approval. No restocking fee applies to a verified Purity Forge error. The public business correspondence address is not a returns facility.
